Questions

Good to know

Do I need an app?

No. Couch Clash runs in the browser – on the TV, the laptop and every phone. The phones just scan the QR code.

How many can play?

From one person up to 16 phones. You pay with credit per player and minute – the kids' and learning games are free. Some team games need at least four.

Do I need a smart TV?

No – any screen with an up-to-date browser will do: a smart TV, a streaming stick, a laptop or PC, ideally on the TV or a projector via HDMI. If need be, the laptop on its own will do.

Does the trial round cost anything?

No. The trial round is free, with no account and no payment details: a full 30-minute round with finale for up to 4 players.

Is Couch Clash available in English?

Yes. Switch at the top left – questions, host and phones then speak English. A few games are only available in German so far.

Why does the sound need to be on?

Because the host talks: he reads out, comments and teases. Add music, jingles and the music games. Without sound you miss half the show.

Halloween Edition · until 31 October

Halloween party at home? Sofa free? Let's go.

The trial round is free, 30 minutes with the host's voice. In the Spooky Cave too.
